Welcome to the Argosino photo art site, where Olivia and I share with you our photographic images from our travels around the world. I was first attracted to photography as a 8-year old boy taking pictures with a Vivitar 600 portable slim camera with the flash cube which rotated after each shot. Then I stepped into "the big leagues" as a 13-year old 7th grader when I was a school photographer taking pictures with my first Pentax K-1000 DSLR camera. Ever since I have been a photo enthusiast continuing to take pictures, to keep memories of wonderful events and places that I've visited over the last 20+ years.

Photos capture an image or scene in the eyes of the artist. It is what he or she sees in the lighting, texture, warmth, color, content, subject, and most importantly the emotion captured in each photo. No two people see the exact same thing in an image even if they are at the same place, at the same time. My photos are what I see, what image captivates and inspires me, and makes me feel certain emotions. I hope that in sharing my photos you, you will experience your own "strong emotions and reactions" to my pictures.

Olivia's Story
My name is Olivia and I am 11-years old. I first got into photography when my mom and dad got me an old Polaroid camera (actually it is a new model) 4 years ago, and I was hooked. I have been very fortunate to visit so many places and along the way I've taken pictures to share with my friends, classmates, and other people.

To me photography is:
Photos capture an image or scene in the eyes of the artist. It is what I see that captivates me, that looks "cool," interesting, and different, whether it is a beautiful sunset, inspirational views, or interesting people doing nutty stuff.
For me, the best pictures capture an emotional and unique moment in time, with a beautiful subject, and a lot of times completely unexpected. I want to take pictures that make me feel something different, and share those with other people to get their own, mostly positive and happy reactions. - Olivia Grace
